ARTIST'S
STATEMENT
Time, Space, Thought, the title of this installation refers
to the constructed concepts by which we are defined. The artist's
concern is to expand these definitions by inquiring into these accepted
constructs. She reduces the images to the essential and explores
new interventions into space by suggesting metaphysical and transformative
experiences which explore and question accepted forms and conditions
of time, space and thought. The ubiquitous motif of the vessel is
the metaphor for movement through time and space, a journey or passage
that signifies transformation. |
